Safety first — always
Because many of our mentees are young, safeguarding isn't a footnote — it's central to how we operate:
- Students under 18 register with a parent or guardian, whose consent we verify.
- All mentors are screened and verified before they're ever introduced to a mentee.
- Parents are kept informed and can reach us at any time.
- Clear codes of conduct apply to everyone — mentors, mentees, and families alike.
Common questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Registration and participation are free for mentees. The initiative is donor-supported.
I'm under 18. Can I register myself?
You'll need a parent or guardian to complete registration with you and give consent. Our form walks you both through it.
Will I be matched with a mentor right away?
Not yet — we're currently building our reviewed founding pools. Registrants hear first as mentoring phases open, and your input helps shape the program.
Do you guarantee internships or jobs?
No — and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. What we offer is guidance, preparation, and connection. The rest is earned.
